Ijamsville MD Event Directions & Local Motels

The Ijamsville event is right around the corner.  The directions are included below.

From Harrisburg PA…Rt.15 south to Frederick, MD.
At Frederick, leave 15 and pick up Rt.270 toward Washington DC.
Follow Rt270 south to Exit 26 /MD RT 80 (Urbana )
Follow Rt.80 east approx.1.5 mile (thru 4 stop lights) to Ijamsville Rd. (5th light) Turn Left.
Take Ijamsville rd. about 1/2 mile, turn right on to Prices Distillery rd. First farm on left.

From York/ via Baltimore Rt83 to beltway Rt 695 west.
Take interstate 70 west to exit 62 / RT 75 N.
Go north on Rt75 to light (100 yards), turn left on Md144, main street.
Follow Rt 144 thru New Market (Antique Capital of MD.) head west out of town approx. 1 mile.
Turn left (south) on to Mussetter RD. follow Musketeer RD. cross RR track (becomes Ijamsville RD.)
Turn left onto Prices Distillery Rd. First farm on left.

Please note…If you use your GPS it may direct you south on Rt.75 from Rt.70…That’s ok,too..but crosses under RR track..low clearance.

Motels…There are quite a few motels 5 miles north of Urbana on off RT270 exit 31 in Frederick..Plus restaurants / shopping/ etc.

Hampton Inn 301-698-2500
Plus there are Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express

Either way, it’s time to dust off/thaw out your riding boots and enter the first round at Texas!  Hope to see everyone there!

Dual Sanctioned Events

There will be 4 dual sanctioned events  (D6 & D7) this year, Ijamsville, White Rose, and Candytown (2 day). A rider who joins both districts can earn points in both districts, and be eligible for year end awards in both districts. The membership elected (during the fall meeting) to add the event at Ijamsville to the schedule this year.

2011 District 6 Membership Application Available Now.

The District 6 Membership fee for 2011 is $20.  The updated application form is available now.  Riders MUST ride exhibition at the events without a valid D6 registration card.
