Henrietta L. "Henri" Steiner

 

Henrietta L. “Henri” Steiner, 78, Lebanon, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2014 at the Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of the late Richard L. Steiner who passed away August of 1991. Born in Jackson Twp., Lebanon Co., on November 25, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Lena Reed Fetter.
Henri was a graduate of South Lebanon High School. She was retired from Crestview Answering Service, Lebanon. She was serving as secretary and member of Lebanon Valley Motorcycle Club, secretary and congressman of District 6 Sports Association, sign in and scoring clerk for Sleepy Hollow MX Park and presently managed Budget Self Storage. She volunteered at the voting poles for North Lebanon Twp. Henri enjoyed and supported the sport of motorcycling in all forms. She was a member of Millcreek Lutheran Church, Richland.
Henri is survived by a son, Henry M., husband of Karen Steiner, Lebanon, grandson, Matthew M. Steiner, Middletown, sister, Nancy Miller, Myerstown, brother, Charles, husband of Joan Fetter, Lebanon, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sister Laverne Patches.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Henri’s funeral service on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at 8:00 PM from Porterfield-Scheid Funeral Directors & Cremation Services, Ltd., 890 Isabel Drive, Lebanon (next to Quentin Circle) with Jason Keener officiating. A viewing will be held Thursday 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be made in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery on Friday, December 19, 2014, at 1:30 PM with memorial cycle ride and procession leaving the funeral home Friday at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial remembrances in Henri’s name may be made to AMA’s Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum AMAHF, OR, AMA Legislative Supporter, both c/o 13515 Yarmouth Dr., Pickerington, OH 43147.
