The long awaited SherGas is due in 2010 also. Well, not really, but someone from the Thumper Talk forums created an image of one. It seems the consensus is that the 2010 Sherco and 2010 GasGas look an awful lot alike. See for yourself.
Dave Diehl put together this flawless ride in section 10 at the Jersey Shore event. He thought the section was so easy that he decided to throw in a freestyle “no footer” through the exit gate!

In the following video of Steve Krouse riding section 10 at Jersey Shore there is a sudden interaction with the ground. The rider was awarded a “5” but he did not agree with the checker. I have read the rules a couple of times and couldn’t find a rule that states if a handlebar touches the ground it is a “5”. Which was the call by the checker based on the mud on his lever.
The score cannot be changed. It did not affect the outcome of the trials event. This is not a debate on whether or not the checker made the right call.
It does beg the question, what rule should be used to score this ride? Lets see if the current rules posted on this site can be used to determine how to score the ride. What do you think?

Welcome to the AMA District 6 Observed Trials website. District 6 is comprised of eastern Pennsylvania and Delaware. We have over 100 riders are who are competing members of D6 trials. Our events are organized by the volunteer efforts of our members’ clubs. Our current clubs include the Candytown Motorcycle Club, the Durty Dabbers, the Extreme Trials Riders Association, the Pennsylvania Trials Riders, the Tricky Tryalers, and the White Rose Motorcycle Club. Each club hosts at least one event per year. Our events are structured with classes to challenge all levels of rider skill, ranging from Beginner to Champ. Riders progress through these classes as their skill level and need for new challenges increases. Many of our riders regularly compete in other series, including the NATC national championship series, and several clubs have hosted nationals in D6. Past and present D6 riders include several national champions, including Ryan Young, a six time NATC Champ class champion. We’re proud of our series, clubs, and riders, and invite you to join us. Directions to our events can be found by clicking on our website’s schedule of events. Whether you’re a spectator or a rider, we believe that you would enjoy our events, and we encourage you to come out to watch or compete. Hopefully, I’ll see you at one of our events!
