Dave Diehl put together this flawless ride in section 10 at the Jersey Shore event.  He thought the section was so easy that he decided to throw in a freestyle “no footer” through the exit gate!

9/14/2009 What rule should be used to score this ride?

mabmarc : September 14, 2009 4:51 pm : D6 Trials, Video Gallery

In the following video of Steve Krouse riding section 10 at Jersey Shore there is a sudden interaction with the ground.  The rider was awarded a “5″ but he did not agree with the checker.  I have read the rules a couple of times and couldn’t find a rule that states if a handlebar touches the ground it is a “5″.  Which was the call by the checker based on the mud on his lever.

The score cannot be changed.  It did not affect the outcome of the trials event.  This is not a debate on whether or not the checker made the right call.

It does beg the question, what rule should be used to score this ride?   Lets see if the current rules posted on this site can be used to determine how to score the ride.  What do you think?
